Grand Blue Trait and Race Rerolls
What Release! actually grants, when to spin, and how the wardrobe odds work.
Most Grand Blue codes do not dump Beli. They dump Trait Rerolls and Race Rerolls. That is the right gift for Early Access: the wardrobe is a second gacha sitting on top of cursed fruits, and a bad Race plus two empty Trait slots will follow you through every island quest.
Release! grants 10 Trait Rerolls and 5 Race Rerolls. TwitterGoalReached is reported as a Fruit Chest plus mixed rerolls. Claim both from how to redeem before you read another paragraph, then come back here to spend.
The wardrobe is the reroll UI
Open Customize Character. You should see:
- Trait Storage with a plus button.
- Trait 1 and Trait 2 with “Spin for a trait” when empty.
- A Purchase Rerolls prompt and a live count (the sample UI showed 13 trait rerolls after codes).
- Race with left/right arrows. Default is Human. A separate race-reroll count sits under that row.
- A Chances panel. Mythic traits list at 0.15%. Other named lines sit under it (Candy and similar labels appear in the list).
Rerolls from codes fill those counters. They are not a hidden inventory item you activate in combat.
Race first, Traits second
Race changes movement identity and, in pirate RPGs from this studio tradition, often changes passives that you feel on every quest. Traits are modifiers on top. If you dump all ten Trait spins into a Race you will reroll later, you have burned Release!.
Recommended order:
- Finish the beginner guide far enough to know whether you like Pirate or Marine. Faction choice is covered on factions.
- Spend Race Rerolls until the name on the Race row matches a plan on races and traits. Stop if you like Human. Human is not a trap default; it is the baseline the rest of the UI is balanced around.
- Only then spin Trait 1. If the result is usable, lock it and spin Trait 2. If both are junk, use remaining Trait Rerolls on the weaker slot, not both slots every time.
The reroll planner is a one-page checklist of this order so you do not invent a new plan mid-spin.
How to think about 0.15% Mythic
Ten Trait Rerolls will not buy you a Mythic. Expected value on 0.15% is hundreds of spins, not ten. Codes exist so you can land a Rare or Uncommon that supports your cursed fruit, not so you can chase the 0.15% line until you are broke.
If a Trait mentions fruit damage, hold it when you own Flame or Darkness. If it mentions weapon or melee, hold it when you are playing a fighting-style build. If you cannot read the Trait yet because Early Access tooltips are thin, screenshot it and compare in Discord. Do not reroll a tooltip you did not understand.
Fruit Chests are not rerolls
A chest from TwitterGoalReached is a fruit gacha, not a Trait gacha. Open it after you know the fruit tier list. Darkness (Celestial 0.5%) and Flame (Mythic 1.5%) are the headline pulls. Cannon and Spin are Uncommon 25% each — together they are half the chest table. Opening a launch chest “for fun” is how you eat Spin and then cry on the first island.
Hourly tree spawns remain free. Chests are the paid accelerator. See how to get cursed fruits.
Purchase Rerolls versus code rerolls
The wardrobe sells extra spins. That shop is a Robux or money sink. Code rerolls are the only free batch you should expect in week one. Do not empty Release! and then immediately buy more because a YouTube thumbnail said “OP EARLY GAME.” Earn money on island quests first. Server size is ten; you will see other players with better Traits. That is not a reason to swipe.
Change Slots does not clone codes
Change Slots on the title menu creates another character. Codes are per account. A second slot does not get a second Release!. It also does not share fruit mastery — fruit skill levels save per fruit on a character, not across slots. Use extra slots for Race experiments only if you are willing to replay the first islands.
When new reroll codes drop
Eternal Pose tied TwitterGoalReached to a social milestone and Release! to Early Access. The next batch will likely follow visit goals or patch day. Watch the codes hub and the updates hub. Redeem first, spend later. That sentence is the entire high-level strategy.
If a reroll code ever grants fruit resets instead of Traits, treat it as a different resource and do not mix the piles. Until that happens, assume codes equal wardrobe spins.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Early Access pirates and marines.
How many rerolls does Release! give?
10 Trait Rerolls and 5 Race Rerolls. Redeem it from Customize Character before you spin.
Should I reroll off Human immediately?
No. Human is the default, not a dead race. Learn combat first, then spend Race Rerolls with a plan.
Can I get Mythic traits from ten spins?
Unlikely. Mythic sits at 0.15%. Use code spins for usable slots, not a Mythic hunt.
Do extra slots get more codes?
No. Codes are account-wide. Change Slots will not grant a second Release!.
