Grand Blue Early Access

What shipped with the public seas, and what still says work in progress.

Early Access Notes

Grand Blue spent years as a Superstephon project and then opened Early Access on Roblox under the Eternal Pose group. The client itself is the patch note: a banner that says expect bugs, a description that teaches fruit rules, and a title menu that already has Trade Hub before the economy is deep. This page is the era recap so the rest of the wiki has a date to hang on.

Playable loop: getting started. Codes from this era: codes. The launch-day video in the middle of this article is a timestamp, not a trailer from 2024.

Rules printed in the description

Copy these into your head; they are the design:

  • Cursed Fruits spawn every hour on trees and plants.
  • Multiple obtain methods exist. Search for them.
  • Fruit skill levels save per fruit when you swap.
  • The Logbook holds world info. Check it.
  • Exploiting bans you.

Those five lines are why how to get fruits and script safety exist.

Launch codes

  • Release! — 10 Trait Rerolls, 5 Race Rerolls (28 Aug 2026).
  • TwitterGoalReached — social-goal rewards, often listed with a Fruit Chest (29 Aug 2026).

No expired list yet. Redeem on Customize Character. How to redeem.

Population snapshot

Around the era this wiki was built, the universe sat near 240k+ visits, ~20k favorites, ~4–5k playing, 10 max players, R15, updated on 30 Aug 2026. Those numbers move. They are here so you know Early Access is a live sea, not a private test.

Alpha versus Early Access

Alpha Tester is a badge for people who reached level 50 during the Alpha Test. The badge text promises an exclusive tradable item. You cannot grind that badge now. You can still meet testers. Their glow is not a hidden Race. Do not reroll Human because of it. Races and traits.

What feels unfinished on purpose

  • Trello / public wiki from the devs: in development.
  • Island names: in the Logbook more than on the internet.
  • Extra fruit methods: hinted, not fully listed.
  • Fighting style roster: growing.
  • World boss flow: exit portal exists in development clips; tuning continues.
  • UI: Path A (Customize Character codes) and Path B (Settings → Codes) both get reported, which is how Early Access UIs look.

What you should do in this era

  1. Redeem both codes.
  2. Do not buy 100x chests as a personality.
  3. Hug plants at the hour.
  4. Follow quests. Islands.
  5. Keep Discord open. Links.
  6. Treat every YouTube “FULL MAP” as a lie until the Logbook agrees.

When Early Access ends

There is no printed 1.0 date. When Eternal Pose removes the Early Access tag, this page becomes history and the updates hub starts taking named patches. Until then, assume hitching, assume table changes, assume codes still matter.

If a patch deletes hourly plants or changes Darkness to a different weight, we will say so here and on the fruit tier list the same day so you do not follow a launch-week S tier into a nerf.

How this era should feel in your first week

You should feel slightly underpowered on island two and slightly rich in rerolls. That is the intended Early Access curve: Release! front-loads identity, plants front-load kits, quests front-load money. If you feel broke, you skipped quests. If you feel kitless, you skipped groves. If you feel banned, you skipped the exploit warning.

Keep the beginner guide and this page as a pair. One is how to play. One is which rules are still allowed to change.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Early Access pirates and marines.

When did Grand Blue enter Early Access?

Late August 2026, with Release! on the 28th and TwitterGoalReached on the 29th.

Can I still get the Alpha Tester item?

No. That badge required level 50 during alpha. Early Access is a different curve.

Will Early Access wipe progress?

Eternal Pose has not printed a wipe. Play, but do not spend like a 1.0 economy.

Where is the official patch list?

In Discord and the Logbook. This hub recaps what we can verify.
