Grand Blue Weapons and Gear
How collectible weapons, accessories, and the Trade Hub fit the ten-player loop.
Eternal Pose lists collect and craft rare weapons and equipment in the same sentence as cursed fruits. That is not flavour. The M1 string in combat is a fighting style plus whatever steel you currently hold. This page is the gear layer: what we can confirm, what the Logbook still hides, and how not to bankrupt yourself on a pretty hilt.
Fruits still outrank swords for identity. Read cursed fruits first if your skill bar is empty. This page assumes you can already press M1.
What the client actually promises
The experience text names three gear verbs: collect, craft, and accessories that make you stronger. BloxInformer and launch coverage repeat One Piece-inspired weapons without publishing a full drop table. We will not invent a named katana list to fill this article. If a blade is not in the Logbook or a reproducible clip, it stays off the table.
What you can act on today:
- Island quests drop or unlock the first collectibles. Follow islands and quests instead of standing at a blacksmith with no recipe.
- Crafting needs money. Money comes from quests, not from opening 100x Fruit Chests. Chest prices live on how to get cursed fruits.
- Accessories sit on the wardrobe / character screen next to Traits. They are not Trait Rerolls. Do not spend Release! spins hoping for a hat.
- Trade Hub on the title menu is how players move tradable gear. Dedicated notes: Trade Hub.
The video in the middle of this page is a full Early Access session that covers fruits, codes, races, and getting rich — the economy that feeds weapons, not a fake item encyclopedia.
How weapons sit in a fight
Priority stays the same as the combat stack:
- M1 string (fighting style + weapon).
- M2 punish.
- Fruit skills 1–5.
A rare sword with no fruit still loses to Flame on a camp. A common sword with Darkness still wins a dock if you can confirm M1. Pair gear with the builds list instead of chasing the shiniest model.
If a weapon art uses a number key, it shares the bar with fruit. Empty keys are not a bug. Controls.
Crafting without a public recipe book
Early Access has not printed a wiki-ready craft tree. Practical rules until it does:
- If an NPC has a marker and mentions ore, wood, or a drop, finish that quest before you sail.
- Do not buy Robux cosmetics labelled as weapons unless you have read the tooltip twice. Cosmetics that “look strong” are not Strength Fruit.
- Keep one upgrade slot behind the island you are on. Crafting the next island’s gear on island one is how you strand money.
- The Logbook is the recipe book. Open it after every boss door. Getting started if you have not found it yet.
Accessories versus Traits versus fruits
Three different gachas wear similar UI:
- Fruits spawn on plants, save mastery, fill 1–5.
- Traits spin on Customize Character with 0.15% Mythic odds. Races and traits.
- Accessories are equipment slots. They can give extra stats. They do not replace a fruit.
If a YouTuber says “this cloak is S tier,” ask whether they mean accessory, Trait, or a fruit aura. Mix those words and you will reroll the wrong counter.
Boss drops and world bosses
Named island bosses and the world-boss exit portal are the likely sources for rare weapons. Bosses covers the fight. This page covers the loot mindset: tag the boss, do not AFK in the portal, do not trade a unique drop in a 10-player server to a name you just met.
Alpha Tester exclusives are tradable. That does not mean your first crafted sword is.
Money route that actually buys steel
- Redeem codes for rerolls, not for swords.
- Quest two islands.
- Hit the hourly plant so you are not buying chests instead of ore.
- Craft or collect what the current island NPC named.
- Only then open Trade Hub.
The “get rich” segment in the embedded guide is questing plus plants, not a weapon shop skip.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Early Access pirates and marines.
Is there a full Grand Blue weapon list?
Not a public named table yet. Use the Logbook and quest NPCs. We will not invent sword names.
Do weapons replace cursed fruits?
No. Weapons sit under the M1 string. Fruits fill skills 1–5.
Should I craft before I have a fruit?
Eat any plant fruit first. Crafting with an empty skill bar wastes the money quests just gave you.
Where do I trade weapons?
Title menu Trade Hub. Read the Trade Hub guide before you move a unique drop.
